We have already begun to see AI replacing jobs in each career and industry. In my opinion, the most notable areas include job positions that are in data entry or calculations, manufacturing, and customer service. While AI is cheaper for companies to use, it could go downhill quickly, making the country more divided, and causing the economy to suffer.
AI seems to be taking jobs that do not require an education or a degree. This becomes a problem for people who rely on a wage or a salary-based job for their income. I am not the type of person to get into politics, but not everyone can afford a college education, and these entry-level jobs allow people to make a living. AI has been replacing jobs, but also destroying job openings for a whole demographic of people. As a result, the gap will increase between this class and the upper class. The upper class is saving money and therefore making more money, and the lower classes are losing opportunities for income.
