Hi, I’m Maura!

A talk about the digital world.
About Me
My name is Maura Dennis and I am a Graphic Design major with minors in Marine Biology and Business. I am looking to make graphics for marine advocacy organizations or companies, specifically local ones since I grew up in Tiverton, Little Compton, and Portsmouth, RI. I worked for Save The Bay over the summer and designed a sign about the Narragansett Bay Watershed, which is now on display in Perrotti Park in Newport. I am on the RWU Track and Field team, and I dance and choreograph for the RWU Dance Club. I am outgoing, caring, and detail oriented, and I always love to learn more and try new things.
This site includes my writing and opinions about the digital world humans are creating. There is lots in history about how digitization arose, but humans are constantly looking for an easy way out with the advancements being made in technology. I will provide information while questioning if the digital world is helping or harming humanity.
